Hewlet Packard 353A-34 Step Attenuator 0 to 100 dB, 600Ω impedance DC/Audio
exact item shown, 600Ω step attenuator removed from an HP 353A Patch Panel, part of a 3550 test set that got wet. It checks out with an ohm-meter, I don't have an audio frequency analyzer, only RF, so I didn't make VSWR plots or anything. The table at the end of this description shows the series and shunt resistance measured for each decade. The last photo in this listing provides the schematic for the attenuator, HP part number 3553A-34.
